It’s that time of the year again!

Golden Globes Red Carpet

It’s that time of the year again! We’ve been through the festive and wedding season and are now officially entering awards season. With the Golden Globes (GG) done and dusted there’s a lot of sartorial eye candy that’s keeping us on our toes. We round up our favourite looks this week with a heavy dose of red carpet glamour from the best dressed celebrities at the Golden Globes. Here’s our cut of the best dressed. Did you favourite celebrity make it?

Olivia Wilde

You could probably put Wilde in a potato sack and she’d still look good. The green eyed beauty worked the red carpet at the award ceremony in a sequined, oxblood Micheal Kors gown and a chunky bejeweled choker. She matched her eyeshadow to the colour of her gown, a red carpet risk we love when done right.

Kate Hudson

Embodying California’s surfer girl vibe, Hudson puts all claims of ‘award ceremony red carpets being boring’ to rest. She’s giving us serious body envy in her shimmering bandeau top paired with a matching skirt and choker (all Micheal Kors), off-set by Forevermark diamonds. We can’t decide what we want more; her hair, her body or that killer outfit?

Kate Bosworth

There’s something inherently stylish about Kates (we’ve got three on our list!) and Bosworth doesn’t disappoint. The starlet validates our prediction of sequins being big in 2016 in a boredom banishing Dolce and Gabbana creation. With her slick hair and subtle makeup, Bosworth let’s her blingy gown do all the talking.

Cate Blanchett

Not only does Blanchett never age, she also never seems to commit a fashion faux pass. Who else can pull of this flamingo pink fringe creation by Givenchy Haute Couture? She also manages to give Gigi Hadid (as well as the rest of us) a lesson in faux bobs with her hair style for the event. We just can’t get enough her icy elegance.

Jenna Dewan Tatum

Envied more for her handsome hunk of a husband, Channing Tatum, Dewan looked like royalty in a metallic embellished, mid-night blue Zuhair Murad dress. In her princess inspired gown, Dewan would look at home at a royal ball just as much as she does on the red carpet.   .
