Thoughts on love

I think love is temperate; it is a lot calmer than your first fling which is like a bright flame that fizzles out pretty soon. Real love is not over the top and hence it lasts.

You are passionate about

My work, knowledge, the world, my country and everything else in between.

Best director to work with

Laal Kabootar director, Kamal Khan, but I also want to work with Kashif Nisar and Farooq Rind, as far as drama series are concerned. Also Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza are amazing.

The most embarrassing thing in your closet

I wouldn’t want the world to know; it’s too embarrassing! (haha)

Weirdest thing you have heard about yourself

After my engagement, I have heard various people surmising about my previous relationships and they’ve got it all wrong.

Best thing you have heard about yourself?

I get a lot of compliments by people who enjoy my work and what I offer both on and off the screen – that really makes me happy.

In your friends circle you are called?

Oh God, that is quite embarrassing as well, so I can’t say.

Her vitals

Age: Bali umariya

Hometown: Hyderabad

Big Break: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

Crazy fact # 1: I am super clumsy,
I keep dropping things and hitting myself accidently.

Crazy fact # 2: I have Rajput blood

What scares you the most?

Losing loved ones.

An actor you look up to and would love to work with?

I have been blessed to have worked with a lot of actors that I look up to including Qavi sahab and Bushra aapa. Also I’d really like to work with some amazing actors such as Bilal Abbas Khan, Usman Mukhtar and Ali Rehman Khan.

TV or film, your preference?

I prefer both. I will also add theatre and web-series, even though I haven’t worked in both these mediums yet. I feel each medium has its own charm and they all appeal to an actor; it depends on the moment and what is being offered.
