Last week the mood was rather bleak but this week, we're staying with the beat of September and changing the tune. Think more along the lines of Earth, Wind, Fire's 1978 groove, ‘Dancin' in September’: an ode to cloudless days and joyous nights. Before the cold, dark of the winter creeps in, we’re sending off summer with a last hurrah.
Let’s acknowledge that tie and dye is having a moment; in fact has been having a moment through out summer. We're here for the matching coordinates but this pale, pastel sari with Victorian sleeves and a vintage vibe is stuff our style dreams are made off. Blogger Amber Javed knows how to pull a look together and channels her inner ingenue in this Thank God I’m Fabulous cotton sari. We love the Madhuri in the 70s feel the outfit has.
This Lahore based up and coming model has been on our radar for a while with her striking good-looks. Her chiselled features, gorgeous dusky complexion and poise can make any outfit look elevated. We like how she updates the lawn dress, inspired by the traditional Afghan Kuchi with plaited sandals and minimal styling. Daily wear aspirational!
What’s not to love about Yasmeen's shot? From the stunning landscapes of Skardu, dappled in the morning sun behind her, to her flawless skin, off duty leggings and sweatshirt right now down to her trainers, this image is giving us all the goals and feels.
Blogger Rimsha Amin pulls off our eternally favourite ensemble – the white shalwar kameez. We j’adore how she’s paired it with ferozi coloured, hand painted Peshawari chappals, layered anklets (yum!) and stacks of bangles. The look is both modern and traditional simultaneously.
